Moses Tucker Real Estate Inc., a Little Rock real estate and development firm known largely as the catalyst for redevelopment of the city's River Market District, is opening an office in Northwest Arkansas, the company's president, Chris Moses, said Monday. The maneuver is intended to better serve the firm's existing clients with assets in Northwest Arkansas and to help its national clients -- such as Subway, Wendy's and Pie Five Pizza Co. -- that are looking to expand in and around that part of the state, Moses said. Ghidotti Communications Ends ERI Partnership, Moves to Regions Center

Ghidotti Communications of Little Rock has ended its strategic partnership with advertising agency Eric Rob & Isaac and opened new offices on the 29th floor of the Regions Bank Center, Natalie Ghidotti said Tuesday. The firm, which focuses on public relations and social media, moved into space formerly occupied by the Barber Law Firm, which moved across Capitol Avenue to the Simmons Tower, Ghidotti told Arkansas Business. Ghidotti is a former editor of Little Rock Family, which is owned by Arkansas Business Publishing Group of Little Rock. She started Ghidotti Communications in 2007 out of her home and quickly teamed up with ERI, with whom she shared office space in the River Market District

Jimmy Moses grew up steeped in the history of Little Rock, especially its downtown. His great-grandfather, Herman Kahn, moved to Little Rock from Frankfurt, Germany, in 1870. Kahn and his sons, Sidney L. Kahn Sr. and Alfred G. Kahn, were involved in banking and real estate development. Sidney Kahn developed the Prospect Terrace neighborhood in Little Rock. Herman Kahn's best-known development was the Marion Hotel, which was among the most famous businesses in Arkansas for much of the 20th century. Construction began on the hotel in 1905. The Marion was the tallest structure in the state from when it opened in 1907 until 1911. The hotel closed in the early 1980s and was demolished to make
